Olmec Culture

The Olmec culture or Mesoamerican mother culture was an ancient pre-Columbian civilization that lived in the lowlands of south-central Mexico, during the Mesoamerican Middle Preclassic period, approximately in the Mexican state of Veracruz and Tabasco on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
