Mud

The mud is an element present in the history of cultures and craft is one of the oldest trades of humanity. For millennia, artisans have transformed mud into utilitarian, decorative and ceremonial objects.

For many cultures, it has been part of its root and form of expression. All the great civilizations left vestiges of their existence through vases, vases, figures and other objects whose main raw material is mud.

Mexico is not the exception. Fortunately, there are still many communities that conserve and continue to work mud and local material in a traditional, ceremonial and contemporary way.
